Privacy Policy
Last updated June 20, 2026.
Queen St Lost is built to be privacy-minimal. We don't run fan accounts, we
don't sell data, and we don't embed third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
This policy explains the little we do collect and why.
What we collect
- Anonymous device identifier. The app generates a random
identifier for your device so your follows and alert preferences persist. It
isn't tied to your name, email, or a fan account.
- Push token. If you enable alerts, your device's push
token is stored so we can notify you before a show you follow. You can turn
alerts off at any time in your device settings.
- Approximate location (only if you allow it). If you grant
location access, your coordinates are used to answer "what's playing near me"
queries. We use them to sort and filter shows; we don't build a location
history.
- Account details for band and venue admins only. If you
manage a listing, you sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password. We
store the email associated with that account to authenticate you and grant
edit access to the entities you own.
- Content you submit. Listings, posts, and images you add
through the app are stored so they can be shown to others.
What we don't do
- No advertising networks, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No selling or renting of personal information.
- No RSVP, guest lists, or fan profiles.
Where data lives
App data is hosted in Canada. Uploaded images are stored on cloud object
storage and served via a content delivery network. Push notifications are
delivered through Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM).
Your choices
You can revoke location and notification permissions at any time in your
device settings. To request deletion of an admin account or content you
submitted, contact us at the address below.
